Kiran:

We marinate the meat over a day or 2 in deadly indian spices and the gravy in the end is to die for...

I love the idea of mixing traditional Christmas meats with wicked Indian spices.

Solid granite from the look of it! And yes, that is a hell of a lot of weight for the woodwork to be carrying but its all distributed and has been worked out previously I am sure. Those 2 pieces do look very heavy though for sure.

Good move removing the pipework Kiran. I did the same here and now have no pipes or cabling visible throughout property. Bugged the hell out of me when I first bought this place but you need to carry out this sort of renovation to be able to do this effectively I think. Keep going and keep posting its a fascinating read. Simon.

That kitchen area look stunning Smile

The round thing up right of the little sink, is that maybe one of those mains sockets that can popup like a little pillar?

Kiran

Is it granite or marble?

There is a white granite on tha market, but this looks even more like the white Technical Marble.
Insofar as Marble, you have to do the impregnation, otherwise the will be stains on the surface.
Not easy to get rid of them. Verified and seen quite often.

Just advice :)
