Sorry but I don’t have any further suggestions. Perhaps when it was sat unused there was a mains voltage surge that upset the processor?
Do you have the service manual? There is a ‘TEST mode’ that you can use to check various functions, but without the full instructions you could muck it up further! The Service Manual is available on the Main Beoworld Site to Silver/Gold members.
