Unfortunately, there is still a slight problem. Playback doesn’t quite start when the deck hasn’t been used for a while. It does work if you do a couple of retries and after that it works every time.
It’s clearly something that doesn’t move quite as freely as it should. I’ll have to examine the mechanism again. Have any of you experience with lubricating this mechanism?
