A setup with BC9500 in the main room and connected by MCL to LCS9000 in link room has no complications, as follows: (I presume that a relay box is just a connection box?)
Note that the above states Option 2 rather than L.OPT 6. I did try L.OPT 2 on my BL3500 when I was trying to trigger with 5V.
