Cirka 1963-1965, den kunne bl.a. bruges med en B&O højttaler Type K og Højttaler 608.

Vinyl records, cassettes, open reel, valve amplifiers and film photography.

It's from 1958-1961 and late in production it was suggested to accompany the then new Hi-Fi 607 floor standing speaker.
The extra tweeter could be placed on top of the speaker or hung from the ceiling.
It spreads the high frequencies 360 degrees around using a double-ended cone and two
high frequency drivers.

Rare to find these tweeters today and since this was all prior to stereo, it's even rarer to
find them in pairs.

It was also found as part of the (mega-rare!) "Hi-Fi Speaker Combination" system,
together with the Midrange (hanging vertical airship) and the Type VH bass-reflex (in 1958!) cabinet, both shown here,
alternatively the larger corner-cabinet HH.
Glorious mono, of course, but still quite impressive sound systems !

Surprise What's inside that zeppelin? Is it omnidirectional as well?

Omnidirectional to some extent, yes.
The Zeppelin contains two oval speakers of the Hroswitha 275/175 TV 160 type fitted
cone to cone (with the magnets outwards) and phased to give the audible
impression of a "pulsating" ball.

Together with the powerful KINO 150 woofer, a single similar midrange driver was fitted inside
the bass-reflex cabinet (both the VH and HH type) and a switch was provided to select the use
of either the built-in midrange or the external "zeppelin".

The HH1 corner speaker was larger !

Containing two KINO 80 in a horn-type cabinet and a H4 treble-unit with a bakelite cell-horn, this was
the ultimate mono speaker.

Do you have all these Martin? The omni-directional tweeter of course mimics the ALT lens in the new speakers 40 years before they were introduced.
