Beolab 11 popping sound / defect

All of the sudden our Beolab 11 started to make some strange noise and we turned it off by removing the power plug from the outlet.

Turning it back on (power cord back it) it just make some popping noise.
Lamp turns from red to orange to green...

Can this be repaired - a common fault maybe?

Ice unit probably needs replacing. Mine did the same.
