Hi everyone
i got a pair of Beolab Penta from a friend and one of them never worked properly.
Its sound is really low. I tried to switch the amps and it works well. It seems like the amp is not working well, but the good news is the speaker is working fine.
That’s why I’d like to remove the integrated amp to use it with an external.
I’m looking for a low price one as I kind of out of money :)
What would you consider ?
Thanks
Why not just get the amp repaired?
Martin
Do love the Pentas, great sound and great retro styling.
First, cause they’re not mine. So when my friend get them back I’ll still have the amp. and also cause I’m afraid the price to repair it cost as much as the price of an amp.
anyway, any recommandation for an amp ?
Yes, but the OP wants a solution that is cheaper than getting the original amplifier repaired.
Well, not really cheaper but that I can, at least, keep for me :)
When my friend will ask for his speakers back, I'll keep the amp and buy other speakers one day.
That's why I'm asking which kind of amp can fit well with this kind of speakers.
Thanks for your help
Great job ! That's amazing.
But I don't feel like doing that kind of stuff... I'm not great at electronics
