Have I missed something, or has this new TV already been discussed somewhere?
Sandyb: If they’d priced it closer to 4K rather than 5k (gbp), most here would have had little issue

B&O is a worldwide 'luxury' brand, with a premium price point, expensive dealers to maintain and, more important, dealers who expect a certain amount of revenue from a TV sale.
That's why that premium is in place. One thing I do agree that it's a shame the Stage has never been updated to support WISA or connecting to other B&O speakers - seems like a missed opportunity for me. A lack of PUC support means no Sky Q control.
However, once you start adding these, the Stage would move up a level or two and become closer to a £2000 soundbar.
I guess what B&O could have done is release a Stage and a Stage+, where the Stage+ has a higher price point, but same design, just more functionality for existing users and those wanting to connect to their other speakers.

I agree with everything here. If the stage included the above I would be more than happy to pay £2-3K+ for a stage+.
steve1977:1) Can i play music via airplay 2 or NL without turning the tv on?2) Is the beoremote natively supported? Both or only the BT version?3) Does it support cec or do i need a puc to control my apple tv?4) Can i “hide” the apple tv inside the contour? i think this was possible with one of the previous ones?
Livingroom: BL3, BL11, BV11-46 Kitchen: Beosound 1 GVA, Beocom 2 Bathroom: M3 Homeoffice: M3, Beocom 2 Library: A6, Beocom 6000 Bedroom: M5, Essence remote Travel: Beoplay E8 2.0, Beoplay P2, Beoplay Earset
Wat is CEC?
I only use apple TV for Netflix streaming, but that is possible in the native LG webOS, so no more need for AppleTV for me.
Does anybody know if the software of the Contour has some B&O layer or would you only see native LG software, menus and logo's?

My dealer told me there is a B&O logo and menu. He might be not yet up to date with contour. Is there difference between Exclipse and Contour on how native B&O app / menu is stored on to the LG TV?
I saw the Contour yesterday at B&O Harrods.
Looks decent enough. Not sure of the silver finish though. Really needs the darker frame.
But, looks solid and seamless. No-one outside this board would know it's a CX + Stage.

Others may know for certain but since this is a Stage and an LG screen, the integration in terms of menus should be minimal (if any) comparing to Eclipse.
Horrible picture refelctions in the sliver version I saw- the frame is quite deep
steve1977:I’m very seriously considering to pull the trigger. Not sure i can handle an LG logo at this price point. It would make me feel every time i watch tv that i overpaid ;) Can anyone confirm whether a LG logo is visible when turning on / off the television and in the web os? Consensus seems the smoked oak version looking best? Anyone has experience with b&o wall mounts? So i need to use the “moving” one or can i just simply put it against the wall with a mount without any movements being possible?
