Hello Beoworld members. Does anyone know if the vintage Beocom 6000 phones can control the volume of a CoreMK.2. (after the choice of music has been made using the B&O app). Beocom 6000’s could be used to control volume with vintage music systems such as the Beosound 4. It was and still is a useful auxiliary function of Beocom 6000 phones.

The Core does not have IR so the BC6000 can't controle the volume of the Core.

You can add an IR receiver to the RJ45 socket on the back of the core. I would imagine it would then respond to the volume control on the phone
