Hi,
I have become hold of a Beosound Century type 2656, but that type is not mentioned in the service manual I have. What country, voltage and radio reception (FM, AM) does it comply to?
It's for the european market.220-240V etc.

The type 2651 is also for the European market, so what is the difference?
I seem to remember two different CD drives was used in production. It was also produced with both alu and black CD clampers, but I don't think the type number(s) were changed because of that. Two different amplifier modules was also used, and that brought no change in the type number. Some were called Mk2 but I'm not sure what the reason is.Type 2651 was produced in both FM only and FM/MW/LW versions, so that can't be it either.I will have to dig through my collection to find the two and compare, but surely somebody must know.
Oh, wait a minute...Some of them have Master Link, if I remember correctly.
Master link, I you sure about that...
I don't generally see Beosound Century very often, and it was never a model I gave a lot of interest (to much plastic, I think), but I ampretty sure that I have seen at least one Century (or 2000) with Master Link.Whether it was a prototype or if it has something to do with the type number I cannot say.
