Hello, everybody,
I am new to this forum and I have a question about the BeoVision Eclipse.
The LG website explains how to install the Disney Plus App. But I can't find the app on my Eclipse TV. https://www.lg.com/us/support/disney-plus-lg-tv
Does anyone already have the Disney Plus APP on their B&O TV?
Thanks in advanced for your help

Hallo
I realised I joined this club as well
my brand new BEOVISION ECLIPSE 65 does support all apps ( AMAZON, NETFLIX....) but no trace of Disney +.
I contacted B&O e was invited to contact LG. Lg sent me nack to B&O.
Last B&O statements is indicating a not clear issue at software level and that they are working on it..
I admit I do not know the architecture of WEBOS and the special needs of Disney, but I am extremely surprised of the entire story ( By the way another missing APP is APPLE TV).
Regards
I dont think that the webos in Eclipse, will ever recieve apple tv app.
And Alfio, if you want to make your experience much better, I would recommend buying an Apple TV and control it with the PUC control.
You will not find a better userinterface for your apps.

Thanks for the feedback Indeed I have alredy a Set top box unit ( an NVIDIA Shield) but my plan was to avoid it. I quoted APPLE TV as another example of missing APP in what is presented as LG WebOS. By experience set top box limit the streaming to HD ( even if 4K capable). I have an application called Infinity TV ( Italian pay per view) that works on 4k only if on TV. By the way it works ( even if there are limitation on the location set-up). Regards
Hi all. Any updates on support for Disney+ on eclipse mk1? I have also not managed to find the app on the lg app store.
I don't understand how Disney states it supports the app on all webos version 3.5 and higher. Is the webos that B&O has different authorizations for app? I thought the eclipse was just a C7 from software perspective except the sound settings.
Can Disney or LG block apps on beovisions?
I've been casting the app from my Samsung phone. I don't think it sends the fancy audio, but I only use the sound bar and a subwoofer so looks and sounds pretty good.
I didn't realize I could cast everything from android. Do you do that with chromecast or need a different streaming app?
Anybody else who was successful in installing the disney+ app on their eclipse?
I *think* Chromecast just casts audio to the sound center. I could be wrong, but this is what seems to happen whenever I try it.
To cast video to the Eclipse, I start the Disney+ app, then I go in the "screen share" application on the LG, then pull down twice on my phone's screen to get the expanded control panel/shortcuts. Click on the "media" tab, and it should show the Disney+ app and the select the "smart view" icon and it should allow you to select the LG as the target. You may need to start playing the media within the app first. I've done this with the HBOMax app as well. It seems to be built in to my Samsung phone.
It looks like Samsung has published both an iPhone and Android app so it doesn't seem to be limited to a Samsung phone. However, it will probably be a different setup process (if you can even follow the one I typed above).
