I recently bought an H9i, Using it paired with an iPhone 6 . my problem is whenever I walk around the city the sound cuts off for a split second. This happens in places where there are many people of if vehicles go by.

I usually put my iPhone on my left front jean pocket, home button side up and whenever I turn my head especially to right, it cuts off for a split second, I changed the phone to my right pocket, top side up, now it works fine but still sometimes it cuts off if there are many people around.

Also when the phone is in my pocket if I cup my palm and cover behind the right earcup it also breaks up...

So my question is, Is this normal behaviour for H9i or do I have a defective unit? I exchanged this once after a day because the original unit's touch controls weren't responding....Should I get another replacement?

Do any of you have the same experience?

It works fine when I am home, even if I am far away from the phone..

I haven’t had any issues like this with my H9i and have used them in public, on flights and trains and busses a lot. I had issues with my first gen H8 but I believe the issue you are experiencing might be related to the old phone. It has a slower and older Bluetooth standard and a very slow processor. So it might be that. Or faulty headphones. But I would anyway upgrade my phone, a 6 must be slow now.
