Hi!

I´m thinking of an HomeTheatre with a Eclipse Sound Center as HT Processor.

I unpluged the HDMI cable and got the picture on my beamer, but not the menu.

Has anyone any idea how i can fix this?

Greets,

mosim

The B&O menu will only appear once the soundcenter recognises that the OLED panel has been connected.

The eclipse does not output video. The menu u see on the LG panel is from the TV itself.

Really, so the b&o menu is in lg software! That roules out bigger or newer lg panels.

Beovision 7-55 MK1 red, Beolab 10 red. Beolab 50, all black. Beolab 17 broken ice. Beolab transmitter. Apple tv4 and apple express 2.

So, Is the sound center useless as it is without the LG panel that suits it?

No, not when these would be part of a Beovision Eclipse 😉

Is that even a likely scenario, that someone would buy an Eclipse and scrap the screen of some reason?

There is a "Line in" to feed the Sound Centre but I dont think you will be able to manage anything without the screen.

Nevertheless, it is now listed separately in the official price list,- let the guessing game begin!

Fairly cheap actually...

Can't you configure the stuff you need to configure through the App?

Well, at 30.000DKK I would happily buy the (assumed) future version of a Sound Center that we frequently call here the Soundbar. :)

Hi mosim,

if you buy a splitter, you can use the screen and a beamer. A HDfury should help if your Beamer doesn’t have all the things the LG screen has (like HDR).

Just click on “image off” to turn off the screen when the beamer is on, and voilà!

Sure - but I guess that the op wanted to avoid buying the screen part of the BV Eclipse.

It's always been listed like this, but you cannot buy the sound center without the screen.  No guessing required.

I have already told BEOVOX141 that on another forum....but, he seems to have forgotten it 🤔

There are a number of sound centres in a warehouse in Australia that will be up for sale soon. No panels, it was a valid question
