Hi,

was thinking about getting a Marantz SR5012 AV-receiver to use as in a surround sound setup with Penta3s, 7-2 and Beolab4000. It seems to be a nice receiver with pre-outs and a decent feature set.

Has anyone bought it or other Marantz av-receiver for your beolab?

Hi,

That is exactly what I use and it works very well. My Marantz is a bit older SR 5008 but same set up.

I am using BL 18 for front, BL 19 sub and BL 15 as rear surround speakers. They all get connected from the Marantz pre-amp out to Transmitter 1 and then wireless to the speakers.

I also use a Definite center speaker and that one is wired from the Marantz

I think Marantz does provide great sound and flexibility and I couldn't be happier.I had to call Marantz a few times with questions and always encountered great customer service.

Good luck.
