Does anyone's AppleTV (gen4) turn off with the Beovision? I can correctly control the AppleTV with my Beo4 and selected the 'turn off with source change' feature but the AppleTV stayes on?

I think it is mean too and you can set ATV to goto Standby after a certain time. at least that is the case with ATV3. I read up on this and it seems it consumes very little power and doesn't make much difference if it is on or on standby.

Yes this is the case. The ATV4 (like the ATV3, and the one(s) before it except for gen 1, which I'm not certain of) will go to sleep after a certain time of inactivity, there is no "off" per se. I have mine set to "always on" knowing that it will wake when I turn my BV11 on.

You can turn it off with the Siri renote. I want it to turn off as i airplay with my mac and then can just walk away with a push of a button on a essence wheel (ir-mode) or beo4. Now i need to press 2 buttons on the beo4 and the essence wheel can't help here.

Any suggestions?

It goes to stand by after a while. Not an issue.

It is. I have dutch-tv and airplay sources on my appletv. I need to pause them before i turn off the tv or they'll continue playing. Or even any app. It should at least go to the home-screen so app's are closed and music and video stops.

Why not just stop airplaying before you switch the tv off?

There is a tv - and there is a BV.

It's not really a problem as power consumption is so minimal - mine is set to never switch off as it is there ready for the next time I use it. Unless I go away in which case I switch everything off.
