BETA Discussions - will there be an update for the BeoSystem4 too?

Hi,

I am following with interest the BETA Discussions for the

- BeoLink Gateway and the

- BeoSound Moment

which will add a tremendous amount of new (and highly awaited) features.

I was wandering, if the "older - but still actual" products (e.g. BeoSystem4, BesVision11) will get an update too? I think, there is room for improvement...

A Beosystem 5 With 4K would be great!

The BeoSystem 4 will not receive any significant updates as it is now on an older generation video platform. 

Ah, you know... A little B&O here, a little there

Hi,

I was hoping, that we would get a sophisticated Deezer implementation for the BeoSystem4 (and BeoVision11,..) - as Dezzer seems to be in the B&O focus (more than Spotify...) in line with the "new" BeoLink App an the "new" BeoSound Moment firmware...

OK, we got an update to Deezer in WebMedia, but I would love just to use the Deezer button on my BeoRemote One and get a working Deezer implementation.

I would love to see a room correction/compensation feature in the BS4, similar to the one developed to BL90...

Hi,

I was curious about the BeoSystem4 & Deezer issue and wrote to BeoCare.

Their first answer was, that their technicians are aware of an issue which causes the BeoSystem4 service not to work when Deezer is selected directly as a source, and they are expecting an update of the Deezer app. Until the Deezer update will be available, I should select Deezer via WebMedia.

Then I wanted a confirmation, that there will be a Deezer update for the BeoSystem4. Their reply was not that promising: BeoCare confirmed that the issue was reported to Deezer, but that they are unable to say whether and in such case when it will be fixed.

I’ll keep my fingers crossed.

I ran into this issue on a BV-11 (select Deezer direct on BR One). Still no satisfactory anwser from my dealer.

Indeed not to hopeful response by B&O, it seems more a software issue in the BV11 instead of the Deezer app. The correct app can be reached through webmedia, the fixed Deezer source seems to start the old app. To me it would be logical that the fixed source is only a connection to the app in de B&O OS and not a thing on the Deezer site.
