Dear,

I have beosound 9000 and beomaster 7000 in the same room. The problem is that every time when I want to use BEO4 to control beosound 9000, my beomaster 7000 will get the same command.
I want to make my beosound 9000 react to LINK command of BEO4 every time (like LINK + RADIO, or LINK + CD) only. And I can use my master control panel 6500 to control my beomaster 7000. Then I will have happy life everyday.
However, I find I can not set my beosound 9000 as A.OPT 4. Only A.OPT 0, 1, 2, 5, 6 is possible to set for beosound 9000.
Do you have any ideas for this? Please help. Many thanks!
With kind regards,
Daniel

Hello Everybody

I have the same problem with BS9000. I have Beosound5 / Beomaster5 in one room and BS9000 in another room together with Beolab 3500.

The units are connected with ML and I want to use the BS9500 as aditional CD player. There are no PL connections.

What option settings do I need for the 2 rooms. How do I start the Beosound 9000 with ML ?

Best regards and many thanks!

Rudolf

Sorry to inform you that A option 3 did not effect the beosound 9000. In my case, only 0, 1, 2, 5, 6

Try Option 0 on the BS9000. You say this is in the same room as the BL3500?

This should send no commands to the BS9000.

There are no speakers connected to the BS9000? Right?

Should hopefully work.

Regards

If I remember correctly, I've had a special made software for this years ago.

Software 1.4 was created by B&O to set the master in Option 0, but still the 2 way infrared kept working for the MCP.

The master 7000 was sold in the days of the introduction of the (1-way) Beovision Avant. Then the Avant was linked and set in option 2 and the BM7000 in option 0. But after complaints of losing the 2-way control, this software was developed.

Another solution is putting the BM7000 in option 3 (that works, I've checked) and remain the BS9000 in option 1.

This above only works with a Beo4 (or older BL1000), with LINK as possible instruction.

A NL BeoVision with two NL/ML converters connected. One NL/ML converter connected with the BS9000 the other to the BS7000 through a T1611

not the cheapest solution but one which will actual work!Smile

I can set the option 3 to my beomaster 7000, however, i still can not beo4 (without link command) to control the beomaster 7000. Looks option3 is same as the option 1 for beomaster 7000;

Anyway, I think what I really like is set 0 to beomaster 7000, but I can still use my MCP6500 to control the beomaster 7000. Could you advise how can that happen? And where I can get the Software 1.4 and how to install the software?

Many thanks!

I like this option. However, my beosound 9000 is currently connecting to beolab 3500 via the masterlink cable. Therefore, how the NL/ML can be used for beomaster 7000, beosound 9000 and beolab 3500 all in together?
