Hello all

i need to find a beolink compatible dimmer for my kitchen lighting.

the lighting is now installed but I have access to the positive and negative at the switch.

the kitchen lighting is split into two feeds one for the dining room and another for the kitchen side, they are also LED lights. I need a control box I can install or a dual switch that will be BLGW compatible.

any thought so I can add my kitchen to my new gateway when it arrives.

ideally I would love a lutron switch that had some words on it like the below and also plain up and down buttons.

Cooking

dining

Party

Would it be a good idea to buy a grafic eye from eBay are they LED compatible also?

You're better off to buy the radio RA 2 system.

It's expandable and you can use an assortment of buttons.

Ra2 all the way.

What a coincidence. I just ordered a RadioRa 2 system today. You will need a Main Repeater that you interface to your MLGW/BLGW and a Hybrid Keypad if you want the dimmer to have buttons. The keypad has up to 6 engraveable buttons plus UP and DOWN arrow buttons for dimming. My Lutron dealer charged $415.83 USD for the Main Repeater and $332.50 for each Hybrid Keypad. I also ordered a fan control and a 15-button table keypad. The total for all of this (with 2 of the Hybrid Keypads) including programming was $2,228. The keypad come with a form for you to send off to Lutron once you decide what you what to have engraved on the buttons, and Lutron later sends you the engraved buttons to replace the plain ones. If you want to change the buttons later (color and/or engraving), I believe the cost is only about $30.

I felt like I found the perfect Lutron dealer when he told me that he was very knowledgable about B&O, that he had sold B&O in the past, and that he had actually even been to The Farm! He recommended using the RS232 connection instead of IP, suggesting that the RS232 gave a stronger, more reliable connection.

Hi All

i have decided Lutron is the way to go for my main rooms. i will use Phillips hue for rooms that i don't need / want an expensive solution.

Do you know a UK dealer i could talk to?

If you are on a budget you may buy a Lutron Caseta. I just installed 6 dimmers using the PRO hub and it works flawlessly. I'm having lots of fun programming the BLGW now :-). I bought everything on Amazon and it's all DIY. I hate going to dealers and having someone else install etc.
