I'm swapping my BV10-40 for a BV11-46 and thereby need to join my exiting ML network with NL.

I have discussed with my dealer but I would like the Forums advise as well.

This is my planned setup:

New stuff I plan to add, apart from the BV11:

- Beolink Wireless. That bit is cabled today but it does not look so good.

- NL/ML converter. Obviously needed and part of the deal I´ve done for the BV11.

- Delay box. I will play music on the BL2000 and the BC2 simultaneous, and the delay box will fix that as I understand it.

Some questions:

  1. Is it okay to build a network after a Beolink Wireless, or are they intended to use just to connect directly to e.g. a BL3500?
  2. Can the delay box be "tuned" or is it a fixed delay?
  3. Is someone using powerline adaptors between the BV11 and a router when using NL/ML converter. Does it work well?

Any experience out there that I need to know, or general advise would be awesome.

That is so!

you can also connect an ir-eye and speakers to the converter - and use it as an 'Active Link'.

Nice to know before you decide where to put it.

Confused

Could someone please tell me how to upload two pictures in the same posting???

Greetings MM

Thanks for input MM.

Easiest way is to upload photos to "your files" here at the site.

Then simply select them one after the other by clicking at the  "insert media" button and select them.

One more advise needed.

Where shall I best connect my Playmaker? Today it is connected to teh BC2 using RCA connectors to the analog input.

I know there is RCA-in on the NL/ML converter. Is that a better place to put it, of some reason, or does it not matter?

Greetings MM

Upload them to your image library first - or use an image service like FLICKR

then use the movie strip icon to point urls to either FLICKR or your Beoworld image library

In my setup, I have linked my AirPortexpress also to my NL/ML convertor. Works like a charm.

Big advantage is that you can setup up your convertor to a source. Before my AE was linked with BS4 I had to use A.Aux button. Now I set it the convertor up with V.Mem, which is easier accesible on the beo4.

I was not aware of that. So I can then connect my Playmaker to the converter and, as you, use v.mem instead of a.aux.

Here is an 'official' example of a setup including the (NL/ML) Delay Box - and the Network Link router.

Hi MM

the jpegs are useful, however I see you have a PDF.

I can't find that PDF via google.

Are you able to make the PDF itself available?

Just curious - what would be the difference?

Hi elephanth,

maybe it's because I am dumb - or too impatient, but....

...this is what I get, when trying to upload the .pdf file to my files:

"Only files with the following extensions are allowed: zip, gif, jpg, jpeg, png, bmp, txt, xml."

Anyway - I think you get the message from the screenshots - and that was the important thing.

You could zip the pdf file before uploading it

I believe you should be able to attach any file type from the Options tab while composing (which I find much easier for a single attachment anyway).

I'll try that, when I am at my Mac again - which is not very often nowadays.
