Ive been hearing much about the new Avant and just went to the NYC B&O store to check it out. Fancy piece of kit but i would never trade it or any other TV for my current TV! (cept maybe a 103" but thats impractical)

I recently bought the an MK VI beovision 7-55 (Bluray and 3D) with beolab 7-4 and the floor stand. And i can say, till this day its the most beautiful looking television ive seen, period. And the picture is stunning. I used to have a 10-40 and it pales in comparison. Together with a white pair of Beolab 9's guests are astounded when they visit.

The picture is amazing (the black levels are scary), the sound is amazing. With the back panel, wires are hidden and the stand serves perfectly for mounting my apple TV's. I also love the little touches here and there - ie the right upperhand corner display for source/volume etc. Ability to tilt back and forth, the inconspicious bluray player and the way it neatly slides out...... but i digress. I like the other TV's in the B and O line but this one is somehting special. perhaps other owners can share their thoughts...

Beovision 7-55 Bluray, Beolab 9 (white), Beosound Encore, Beolab 4000, Beosound 9000 (White special Edition), Beo4, A9 Keyring

You said it better than I ever could. The blacks(which lcd's can't do apparently) are amazing.

Beosound Stage, Beovision 8-40, Beolit 20, Beosound Explore.

Hello everyone,

Anyone has experience with BV 7-55 Close Wall Bracket Installation.

Your valuable assistance will be much appreciated.

I have not installed my BV 7-55 yet.

Thank you.

A great tv to have.

Connect and check all your speakers/cables before hanging it.

You will need help to hang it as its heavy.

Enjoy !

Thank you valve1 for your feedback.

Do you also know if I can connect 6 speakers?

2 front (Beolab PENTAS) 2 back (Beolab 8000) and 2 Beolab 3s in the "middle"

+ sub (Beolab 2) + Beolab 7-2 center.

Asking since at the back has 5 powerlink connections (not 6)

+ 1 for the Sub + 1 fro the center.

Please advice

Thank you all in advance.

Spiros.

The 7 year gap in this thread makes it an interesting read. How many contributors from 2014 hold the same views now?

I do, and I have since 2009. The picture quality is still admirable.

Beovision 7-55 MK1 red, Beolab 10 red. Beolab 50, all black. Beolab 17 broken ice. Beolab transmitter. Apple tv4 and apple express 2.

Ironically we are now using an 11-55 which we bought before the 7-55 quoted in this thread!

Beosound Stage, Beovision 8-40, Beolit 20, Beosound Explore.
