Struggling to get CEC control working between Theater and LG OLED C7

I have recently purchased a Beosound Theater and Beoremote One BT to replace an old Sony Soundbar. I have an LG OLED C7 TV (earlier generation that doesn't have the LG app integration). I have re-connected everything to route through the Theater to the TV so I can leverage PUC control for my SkyQ and Dune media boxes (connected to HDMI A and B). Previously, the TV acted as the HDMI hub, with the soundbar just used for audio. I have CEC Simplink configured on the LG, with power control enabled. Both sources (Sky and Dune) are configured with CEC Enabled. TV is connected to the Theater via HDMI2, which is the ARC port - an into the TV-ARC port on the Theater. The symproms I am seeing is that the theater (with remote) can turn off the TV fine, but when I turn on the Theater from the remote (TV button and Sky), the Theater turns on (sound playing), but the TV does not turn on. Also, if I switch to Netflix or YouTube apps on the LG TV, it doesn't trigger the sound to switch on the Theater (from Sky for example), so I need to switch the Theater to TV (via the remote or mobile app). Likewise, if I then switch to Sky on the B&O remote, it doesn't trigger the TV to switch HDMI2 (ARC). I think I did have it partially working at one point, where the TV turned on from standby with the Beoremote, but I can't recreate that behaviour. I have tried to reconfigure each element in the chain (e.g. turning off HDMI control on Sky Box, or re-setting CEC Enabled on the sources in B&O application). I have also tried turning everything off for 5 mins and restarting, but to no avail. The other setting I have played with is the Quick-start setting on the TV, but that doesn't seem to change anything. I've also disabled and re-enabled CEC/Simplink multiple times - with reboots on the LG TV. I know that ultimately, I should upgrade the TV to a newer model (G6 for example), but hoping to get by in the meantime. Am I flogging a dead horse trying to get this setup working? It's frustrating that PUC control doesn't allow the "TV" port to be selected for HDMI as I was originally hoping to keep the TV doing the HDMI switching (obviously still using the LG remote) - but that option doesn't seem to be supported. I have replaced the HDMI cable to thin Cable Matters cables - not sure if that could cause CEC handshake issues. Any assistance is much appreciated   Chris

I have made some progress with the configuration and have been able to get things working so that the TV is turning on and off (via CEC) from the Beoremote One. Previously, this only worked for turning off the Theater and TV, but now works with turning on the system from cold into the my 2 connected PUC sources into the Beosound Theater (SkyQ and Dune media box). To get this working, I had to disable CEC-Enabled for both devices and also switched off CEC control on the Sky box. I have the Sky source configured to switch when the source changes and the dune media box to be always on. I'm still having some issues with the switching of source when I launch an app on the TV - this works intermittently, with most success when the app is launched for the first time and the Theater switches sources to TV. Switching back from a TV app to Sky or Dune so that the HDMI on the TV goes to HDMI2 (HDMI-ARC port) works sometimes - generally when I select the second Beosound Theater connected source (i.e. starting on TV, I switch source to Sky, then to Dune and the TV switches HDMI on the second switch). Overall, I've made good progress and have things working reasonably well now - although not perfect.
