I had my Beocenter 9000 serviced by "Beophile" Anthony Garza a few years ago, who miraculously brought it back to life. Everything was working beautifully (the sound is incredible!), but I had not connected an FM antenna at the time, so I assumed that the occasional signal dropouts were due to my proximity to an airport. ...

I have a Beocenter 9000 c.1987 in full working order and a recent power surge powered up the system and caused the cassette door to open and the cassette inserted began to play.
I subsequently installed a surge protector, and a more recent power surge caused the system to again power up, and this time the cd began playing!
Does anyone have ...

Hello all,
For quite some time I had succesfully installed a pair of BeoLab 8000s to a (relatively old - 1985 or so) BeoCenter 9000. Instead of using Beolink, I just use regular speaker cables and set the speaker settings to "link". What I have started noticing is that one of the speakers will fail to play (the light will be red). If I ...

Dear B&O fans,
I own a Beocenter 9000 and didn't use it for a while. Just plugged it in again and get the error message "CO.dE" in the timer part of the display. The Beocenter doesn't work, whatever I try.
Anyone any idea how I should solve this?
Many thanks in advance,

I have tested it on similar outputs on the telly and the audio comes through. But when I plug into the 9000's rca I hear nothing. I cant find the manual so I just tried
phono

Hello,I have a client with a Beocenter 9000 and they wish to use this device in a larger multizone audio system. I need to attach an IR Eye to the Beocenter in order to provide the control from the main system but I can't find where the sensor exists on the Beocenter. They no longer have their manual and Googling hasn't yeilded ...

Hi all you helpful B & O fans.
I am really new at this and have just joined. You may have been asked this a million times before, but I cant find the answer on your forum.
I have and ancient Beocentre 9000 (serial No 04363709) which I bought new in 1987 - yes 20 years ago and it is still performing beautifully right through the house ...

Well, it is like this... I have a Beocenter 9000 with a pair of generation 1 Pentas. Currently the cd player is busted, or more like the plastic part that holds the cd down is gone. So I'm using a generic cd changer through the aux port. The real problem is that sound only comes out of one speaker. I checked the speakers and the wires, and ...

Hi all - I have a Beocenter 9000 and a small black disc surrounded by a spring which holds the cd in place has cracked, no longer holding a cd. Been to 2 B&O shops, both who said you would need to replace the cd unit using a CD REPAIR KIT - no one seems to stock one of these (emailed all 200+ dealers...). Any one have any ...

I've a very silly problem with my 9300! The little black button on the CD player which holds the CD in place has cracked and split into 2. Has anyone any ideas where I can buy a little black, plastic replacement button here in the UK please?
Thanks a lot

Thanks for this link!
The cassette MP3 player is also great, but I love my iPod too much...
Is there an easy way to take out the two driving units that fit into the cassette? If this can be accomplished in a reversable way, together with the iPod cable from Ridax than I can put the iPod into the place where the cassette fits normally, ...
