I intended to have a main room Avant, and a link room MX3500, connected by a converter. However, the Configuration Guide states that I won't be able to control the STB on the Avant from the MX3500. Is this correct? It rather defeats the purpose of linking the devices.   Mark

Hi all - my 32" Avant (curved screen) VHS is not working - when I go to play a VHS all i get is a horizontal red line across the screen yet it will rewind the cassette via the buttons on the top of the TV. Can anyone here tell me the part number for the Cathode Ray Tube in an 84/23 32" Avant? I want to use a CRT analyser on it, but this will be safer and easier if I can identify the part number.
