  • Masterlink wall plates

I would like to install four Masterlink wall sockets. Ideally, each of these would have an F connector on the same unit, since I use these for aerial connection. I such a device available? If so, where would I get them from? I'm in the UK, but happy to order from overseas. An alternative might be to buy one of those Masterlink wall sockets ...

  • Masterlink cable

I understand that the Beosystem AV9000 powers the AV9000 Audio Kit via the MasterLink cable, and that it is the only B&O product to do this (the other BeoLink boxes having built-in power supplies). However, the BeoTech minisite just shows a single MasterLink pinout. Would I be correct in thinking that the AV9000 uses pins 11 and 12 to power ...

  • Harmony? ;-) Can I make these link components work together? BS3, BM7000, BeoPort and BL Active?!

Great fun reading the forums! Started buying B&O stuff back in the 80ies and by now my house is "well equipped" (my wife would use more profane words)....  But, I have really never been able to crack the Link Option logic, given that there is one ;-)  Anyway, in this case I have - a BeoSystem3 [v.opt 2] in the main ...

  • It's been a LONG time... (Beovision 8 thread)

Hi everyone, I have missed the posts and camaraderie here... I'm still thinking of a BV8, but I was curious how to integrate it into my setup, if and when I do get it. Currently I have a BS9000, connected to a BL2, and a pair of BL3s. I'd ideally like to ML the BS9K to the BV8, if I do this, is it possible to use the BL3s and ...

  • Missing / intermittently available sources in BeoPort

Hi everyone, has anyone seen a problem like the following before? I recently bought the BeoPort kit and installed it successfully connected to / running on my iMac (running OSX Leopard) on Windows XP running on a Parallels Virtual Machine (I also have it working directly with iTunes on 'native' OSX using Anders Odlund's BM-Link ...

  • Beoport and Beosystem 6500

Hi, I have already posted this to the general forum without noing about the existance of this forum. Sorry if crossposting is not tolerated here. Now on to the subject I have been offered to by a used Beoport. Have anyone here tried this combination? How did it work? As I recall Phono uses the same datalink code as N.Radio. Is this a ...

  • Beosystem 7000 and Beovision 7-40: integration through ML/MCL Converter

I am seeking assistance with integrating my BV 7-40 with my BS 7000 which is controlling two additional link rooms through MCL. • Power- and Masterlink cables

Hi there,  I need lots of cables for my new setup. Both Power- and Masterlink cables. And net cables aswell. So does anybody know if the Bosscom cables are just as good as original B&O cables? I reckon that Bosscom might be cheaper than B&O??   Greetings Ruivar

  • Using a beolab 3500 with a beosystem 5500

Hi, I have two ML/MCL questions. Is it possible to create a link room setup with a beolab 3500 controlling a beosystem 5500 in another room? How about a MX7000? Thanks,  Peter

  • Masterlink issue

I have two TV's a BV7 and BV6 linked. In addition we have a CD linked to the BV7. Normally when both TV's are plugged in we can select DTV, DVD, CD through the BV6 or 7. Over the last couple of weeks on two occasions I have been unable to link the two TV's. I have tried reseting the link via the Beo4 remote and have even ...

  • Re: Concealed wiring wallplates

Paddy, I think the stores have them made up to order. You could make your own for ML and PowerLink. Buy a blank HPM or Clipsal plate and start drilling and filing. I wouldn't recommend placing 240v outlet on the same plate though, I'd aim to keep a 10 cm separation, and have the two plates (twin-gang 240V switched and ML--PL) horizontally ...

  • Re: Socket options with Masterlink, Powerlink and Ethernet

Thanks for the info. Interesting concept just laying one cabletype throughout the house. I wonder, though if transmission over CATx cable is sounding the same as original Masterlink cable? Anyone got experience? Cheers, Frank
