I have just taken a BV4-65, a beolab 7.2, 4 beolab3, a beolab 2. I have not yet chosen other audio and video devices.
1) What I have to take as DVD recorder (DVD 2 is discontinued!?) ? Could I take a HDR2 or it will be changed soon with another model ? Or I have to wait for a DVD3 with bluray ?
2) What I have to take as audio system ...

soundproof:...
We were discussing blu-ray versus upscaled DVD and the HD quality of AppleTV. We watched Sweeney Todd fro AppleTV, which is a particularly good HD-transfer on a 50" plasma, and my friend's evaluation was that this convinced him he was not going to replace all his DVDs with blu-ray versions. ...
There is a big chance ...

Hi, my dealer told me that the DVD2 didn't work with the MX7000. It would however work with a MX8000.
Is this true? If so, what's missing in the MX7000?

One of the 'promises' I received when I ordered a DVD 2 was that for a small fee, it could be multi-zoned/regioned. I need multiiple zones because almost half my DVD collection is made up of US and Canadian imports (the latter because they are in French and English).
I've just downloaded the service manual for the DVD 2 (thanks ...

See the video at the following site

Sony are now launching PlayTV as an add-on for the PS3. Looks a pretty good solution and certainly far preferable to B&O's DVD2 which from what I've read doesn't appear to have a digital tuner.

Not so fast!
The DVD2 has 2 Scart sockets, like the ...

Santiago: Santiago: Santiago:Latest news from my dealer: the DVD2 project has been definitely stopped, B&O is not convinced about the dvd format as a valid storage media nowadays, so they are already looking at the blu-ray/HD-dvd/media cards as new storage options.
I only wrote the exactly words that my dealer (very serious and ...

mclaren:le dvd2 ne presente pas pour moi un grand interet car je ne suis pas collectionneur de DVD.
Cela permet de graver des DVD aussi, donc tu peux conserver des enregistrements auquels tu tiens.

I've just bought a HDR1.Does the DVD2 will be positioned in the same price range as the previous HDR1? Or will it be 1000 Euro more expensive...If it is in the same price range I would like to swap the HDR1 for the DVD2.

Looks like there is a tuner, as there is an RF in and out.
I like the Firewire IN as well.
Lots of connections, a departure from the minimalist connections of the HDR2.
I want one of those...
