  • Re: Harmony? ;-) Can I make these link components work together? BS3, BM7000, BeoPort and BL Active?!

If anyone's interested on to know how this ended - at least for now, here's the story: 1. BeoPort: I didn't junk it since I want to continue using the BeoPort application on the PC, i.e. including N.RADIO. N.RADIO doesn't work without the BeoPort hardware. But, I took it off the Master Link and set the link option to 0 to avoid ...

  • Harmony? ;-) Can I make these link components work together? BS3, BM7000, BeoPort and BL Active?!

Great fun reading the forums! Started buying B&O stuff back in the 80ies and by now my house is "well equipped" (my wife would use more profane words)....  But, I have really never been able to crack the Link Option logic, given that there is one ;-)  Anyway, in this case I have - a BeoSystem3 [v.opt 2] in the main ...

  • BM-Link and iTunes 7.5.x

Hi everyone Can anyone help with a compatibility question? I am running BM-Link with OSX10.5 and iTunes 7.5. I am NOT running Anders' latest version of BM-Link (just released in May), but the previous version. Everything works fine, but I am afraid to upgrade iTunes to the latest version as I read somewhere that it is not ...

  • What is the best way to integrate a mac mini in my setup?

Dear Forum, having read lots of interesting threads on apple/mac in this forum, I have been thinking about integrating a newly acquired mac mini in my B&O setup. I got the mac mini because I was so fascinated by the way cover-flow works! Main use would be as a music box (I had the intention of using a touchscreen tft, but this didn't ...

  • Re: Accessing BM-Link scripts, and use of new version (1.5.2)

Anders, thanks for your very quick reply and the help. The Front Row script is what I am keen to see as that is what I would learn most from, I think. If you have time, you might be able to answer one further question - why will the Front Row support only work if you use an eye connected directly to the BeoPort whereas the N.MUSIC and N.RADIO ...

  • Accessing BM-Link scripts, and use of new version (1.5.2)

Hi everyone. I am currently running Leopard and BM-Link 1.5 (firmware 1.30) on an iMac, everything works fine for me (though I have stuck to iTunes version 7.6 because i've read that there are issues if you go to 7.6.2), except that I can't control Front Row directly from my Beo4 because none of my IR eyes are connected directly to the ...

  • Re: B&O & Mac...

Hey Vivian When looking for Beoport on eBay, do also look for "Beolink PC 2" (must be PC 2, the older Beolink PC would not work). That is the old name for the box. Beoport is a HW box that connects via Masterlink to your Ouverture and via headphone and USB cable to your powerbook. B&O does not offer software for the Mac - for which ...

  • B&O & Mac...

My living room Ouverture is hooked up to my Powerbook via Airport Express and it's all good. Have Speaker's outside on the deck connected via Masterlink to a Beolink and passive speakers. Problem is that the IR sensor seems to have got wet and is not working anymore ...some corrosion on the cable connector does not look to serious but ...

  • Re: BM-Link 1.5

Maybe you could use the N.RADIO and N.NUSIC codes and use the MENU button while in N.MUSIC or N.RADIO to activate front-row...  This would fit nicely, as with the apple remote you also call frontrow by pressing MENU.  P.
