I understand that the Beosystem AV9000 powers the AV9000 Audio Kit via the MasterLink cable, and that it is the only B&O product to do this (the other BeoLink boxes having built-in power supplies). However, the BeoTech minisite just shows a single MasterLink pinout. Would I be correct in thinking that the AV9000 uses pins 11 and 12 to power ...

Great fun reading the forums!
Started buying B&O stuff back in the 80ies and by now my house is "well equipped" (my wife would use more profane words).... But, I have really never been able to crack the Link Option logic, given that there is one ;-)
Anyway, in this case I have
- a BeoSystem3 [v.opt 2] in the main ...

Hi everybody,
I bought IR eye for my Beolink PC2 recently.
It comes as a silver disk with 5 buttons and a 3-core cable with 3.5 jack (and a wiring diagram of cause).
The matter is: IR signals come through to Beoplayer OK, but no one IR eye button affects Peoplayer regardless of any Beolink option (0,2,4,6).
Does anyone know ...

I've recently purchased a number of secondhand items, including a BeoPort Active, and matching Eye. In the manual, mounting the eye involves fitting a bracket to the wall, hanging the eye on the bracket, and fitting a small screw to hold it in place. However, the eye which I received came with a back panel and a top-hat - no separate ...

ok here goes
a 'friend' of mine has strayed down the path of wiring several rooms of his house with the intention of putting BOSE in. Having seen what B&O stuff can do he wants B&O in the several rooms he has expensively wired already. Each room has at least a pair of passive speaker cables going back to one point in the ...

I have a Beocenter 1 from 2005 (Typ no: 8523, SW:2.5, Acc: ML STB DSS) in one room connected to a Pace twin turner PVR , a VX7000 VHS and with a ML cable to the Beoport (SW: 4.65).
I have recently got B&O to connected these products with my Beosound 9000 (SW:2.21) (with a ML cable) and BeoLab 8000 which are ...

Hi All
I have my MX3500 connected to my MX7000 via the 7-pin Beolink.
MX7000 is master and MX3500 slave (link-tv)..
Everything works exactely how I expect. If I press a source, that is not locally configured on the MX3500, it will try to link it throgh the Mx7000.
If I change the MX3500 to Master mode, I can still access linked ...

I am new here and not particularly technically up to speed, so please forgive me.
I have a beolink PC2 which was installed on my lap top. The lap top got a virus and I lost everything; the B+O shop re-installed the software on my desk top. I found that whilst the software worked, it scanned my hard disk every time and I lost all the playlists I ...

I have a similar problem, but I'm missing the V. Tape function on my universal remote, so I can't view anything that's plugged into the SCART plug. Do you know the HEX code for that button?

I am installing B&O in multiple rooms of my condo. The condo has 2 bedroom, 2 baths, and a kitchen that opens directly into the living room. Here is the current plan:
1. Living room - BeoLab3s with a BeoSound 4
2. Master and Guest Bedrooms each get a pair of BeoVox1s in the wall.
3. Non-B&O Outside ...

Hi,
I have been offered to by a used Beoport.
Have anyone here tried this combination?
How did it work? As I recall Phono uses the same datalink code as N.Radio. Is this a problem?

Following discussions in other threads it occurs to me that there may be an opportunity to be exploited if we can utilize the now redundant PC connection on the thousands of BeoLink Actives that we already own. In my own installation I have 7 "B&O enabled" rooms. I can only use 3 of those rooms to introduce new sources to ...
