  • Beovision 7 startup curtain

We have had the BV7 now for two months and have been operating it with a Comcast / Motorola DVR.  All is fine. Just one question - when turning the TV on, the famous curtain function does not work, presumably because the synchronization with the DVR takes too long. Could one avoid the issue with an increased delay at startup ? I found ...

  • Beovision 7 40 valt in stanby stand.

  • bv7 and cd playback in beo network

hi, this may be a stupid question, but i'd rather be sure. i currently have a beocenter 1 that i use as an audio and video master in my beo network. i use it essentially to play back cds and n.music. in my future dream set-up, i plan to have a bv7 in the living room and move my bc1 to the bedroom. i had thought to leave the bc1 as audio ...

  • Beovision 7-40 MK II vs MKII

Hi everyone, and thank you so much for reading my first post and maybe replying! I grew up with B&O, but has since wandered around this and that ending up with a complete lineup of Pioneer plasma and audio, as well as Canton Vento speakers. Now everything is thrown overboard, and I am back to B&O. A good friend is selling his Beovision ...

  • Samsung DCB-H360R

  • Re: Solution for multi HDMI inputs with a single DVI in

On your "second" question: On the BV7 MKII (which you seem to have) the whole digital audio implementation is screwed up. It doesn't support plain 2-channel stereo (PCM streams) of the digital inputs (SPDIFs) but gladly accepts 5-channel "stereo" (aka DD 5.1)... ..for some unexplainable reason. This is (and will ...

  • Re: BV7 Mark 3

The MK3 have 4 HDMI-inputs (which carries audio and video). The SkyHD-box connects to HDMI1, the PS3 connects to HDMI2 and the BeoMedia (which have DVI, which is the same thing as HDMI but without sound) connects to HDMI3 (you need a cable which is HDMI in one end and DVI-I in the other end, costs about $10 at RadioShack) + an additional RCA-style ...

  • Beomedia and beolab3 and DVD2

Hi All This my first time on this so apologies if i use the wrong format etc.  I am looking for an honest view rather than that of someone wanting to sell you something - no disrespect intended... I have a few B&O products BV7 32" rather than 40" [unfortunately!] along with 9000 and Beolab 5 [the darlek like ones!] and a few ...

  • BeoVision 7-40 mkIII and sw 4.01

My dealer has upgraded my 7-40 mkIII with the software 4.01, to get the AppleTV working. This it does!! However now if I am watching DVD or VMEM (=AppleTV) after 15 minuts or so the TV switches back to DTV (that is my sat reciever). Does anyone has heard from this problem, is it related to sw 4.01? thanks

  • Media on BV7-40 (without BeoMedia 1)

It seems that BeoMedia 1 will discontinued - so I am wondering how you play your media files on your BV7-40? In my case I have an XBOX Elite that connects to the BV7-40 via HDMI in 1080p. Then I have the option of streaming content from my Windows Home Server (in my case: mp3, vma, jpg, vmv, newer AVI (Xvid) ), or from my TVersity streamer ...

  • BeoVision 7-40 MKIII problem with sw 4.12

My dealer updated the sw on my BeoVision 7-40 MKIII from 3.5 to 4.12, now the TV has problems adapting from 4:3 format to 16:9. Before the TV switched between format 1, 2 or 3 automaticlly, however with the new sw it stays on the same format if you change channels. Anyone any ideas? thanks
