  • Re: Soundstage - speaker placement

The pictures I am trying to give an impression of the sound experience by adding colours to the pictures. The dark coloured part indicates the sound 'centre' of the soundstage experienced in the listening situation. I now decided to add an second pair of Beovox 2500 Cube's to my system. I would like the Cube's to be mounted ...

I have experienced a very pleasent improvement of the sound of my favotite B&O system. Someone knows this is the Beolab 5000 of 1967 . My Beolab 5000 system is the Beolab 5000 - Beomaster 5000 - Beogram 3000 - Beovox 5000 speakers and the Beovox 2500 Cube speakers. I think the sound of this old classic system is really good and ...

  • Re: Help needed for Beolab 5000

The amp on 1 side of my Beolab 5000 is giving problem. The other is fine. 1) Connected to the BC9300 thru powerlink, when the side switch is push to audio, a pop sound can be heard from the speaker, source display comes on showing there is signal thru, however no sound is heard. Switching powerlink cables yield no result either. 2) Now using the ...

Yesterday I looked at a Dutch online marketplace by coincidence and someone offered some older B&O equipment. Some beocenters, a beocord taperecorder and a beogram. Normally I ...

  • Re: Beolab & Beomaster 5000 - digital sources?

Jandyt:Yes, I turned up the tape one so my MP3s would be a similar volume to my CD (phono). I think my phono one needs turning back down, as, on volume 7 things vibrate off the shelves in my lounge! I have an outside, rooftop aerial but that is connected to my Beosystem 7000. Guess I will eventually split it and send it to both Beomasters. So ...
