What a great sounding unit with plenty of power, but this is the first B&O I've owned with a magical power supply (?) hum that increases in volume as the unit heats up. The hum does not transfer out the speakers (thankfully) but is a bit annoying. Anyone out there successfully found a way to eliminate it or subdue it a bit ...

Hi.
I'm just wondering, which of the two ( BL4000 and BS1 ) produces a better sound? The BeoLab 4000 can be placed further away so the stereo image is better, but other than that, what's the difference?
Also, how big is the difference between the MKI and MKII ( ICEpower ) BL4000? When did they start making them ( which serial number ...

I now have beolab 4000's connected to my B&O avant. At the moment I'm not satisfied with the sound quality of my current B&O set. I used to have penta's (passive). Buying active penta's is not an option. My wife now wants something else in the room :-( and I like a good sound. So I'm either thinking of buying beolab ...

Hi,
I apologize if this topic has already been discussed but the threads I found just confused me even more. I'm in the process of entering the B&O world and deciding on by best options. I want to use these speakers in my living room and for music listening. I went to the store and was shown the Beolab 3 and the "old-styled" ...

Hey All
I need a speaker suggestion. I have an Avant, BL2 and BL8000. I'm thinking about getting rear speakers. Also I'm considering getting a BeoSystem 3 for my 40 inch LCD and putting BL8000's an BL2 to it. So in either set up which rear speaker would be best. Thanks

I have an Overture with Beolab 4000 & 6000. 6000's are in the lounge (large room with vaulted ceiling) and the 4000's are in the dining room (a smaller room with beamed ceilings). With full system operating the bass & volume from the 4000's is far too much, can I control these seperately. My link to these is the ...

Dear All:A little background, I have a pair of BL 8000 in gray, very nice sound. I am considering adding a BV 7. Will the BV 7 in gray match my curreint BL 8000 (bought less than a year ago)? I may use them as fronts. The other option is to use BL 3 as front and rears. Will BL 3 as rears be too much, knowing that ...

Thanks in advance to all of you who have posted suggestions to my prior posts seeking advice for my home theater set-up.
Two remaining decisions: DVD player and rears.
Kit will be BV 4-50 TV, BS3, BL7-2 center, BL6000's fronts.
Question on rears: Can a pair of BL4's do the job or should I get a pair of BL4000's? ...
