  • Mac Mini -> Beocenter 6-26, picture but no sound

First time on the forum. Wow! I've read most articles on Mac connected to B&O, however not found any solution to my problem. I thought the sound path was fixed by connecting a Mac Mini (MM) to my BeoCenter 6-26 (BC626) via a lightconducting cable (0.5 m), an optical/coaxial converter (TOSLINK in, RCA out and said to be transparent) and an ...

  • BeoVision 7-40 mkIII and sw 4.01

My dealer has upgraded my 7-40 mkIII with the software 4.01, to get the AppleTV working. This it does!! However now if I am watching DVD or VMEM (=AppleTV) after 15 minuts or so the TV switches back to DTV (that is my sat reciever). Does anyone has heard from this problem, is it related to sw 4.01? thanks

  • BV 7/32 High Definition Audio

Quick question on HD Audio.  One of the perceived benefits of Blu-ray discs is the availability of HD audio formats. The method by which these are available can vary. In some cases decoding is performed at player level. In other cases at receiver/ processor level.  At present neither BS3 nor the surround sound processor in my own BV ...

  • Media on BV7-40 (without BeoMedia 1)

It seems that BeoMedia 1 will discontinued - so I am wondering how you play your media files on your BV7-40? In my case I have an XBOX Elite that connects to the BV7-40 via HDMI in 1080p. Then I have the option of streaming content from my Windows Home Server (in my case: mp3, vma, jpg, vmv, newer AVI (Xvid) ), or from my TVersity streamer ...

  • Re: November 1st prize winner

Will as i promised be back with pictures, but not right now. The BL6000's will be part of a surround setup, as my Avant has a Dolby Digital processor. But since I have moved and gotten a bigger livingroom, I have considered getting a BV7-40, as the 28" screen of the Avant is too small now. So I did it, ordered a new BV7-40 on a ...

  • Re: Beovision 7-40 Connections Menu: Where's the DVI port? Cannot find Apple TV input signal

oops - found the colour coding: it's on the back side of the cable cover. But yes, the cables are correctly connected, which leaves me guessing. The sound is there, I can do blind navigation within the Apple TV menu. But no picture ...

  • Re: Beovision 7-40 Connections Menu: Where's the DVI port? Cannot find Apple TV input signal

Hi Alex, I am familiar with the PIN code menu - if BV7 is disconnected from power for a while it shows up - but that does not seem to be the issue here. TV, DTV (STB), DVD and V.MEM (Video Tape) all work fine. I am wondering if I have the composite video cable connected correctly. There is no colour coding on the sockets of the BV7 (but yes on ...

  • Beosystem 7000 and Beovision 7-40: integration through ML/MCL Converter

I am seeking assistance with integrating my BV 7-40 with my BS 7000 which is controlling two additional link rooms through MCL. I have a ML/MCL converter (1651) connected to the Beovision through an ML cable and to the Beomaster 7000 through an A/V Link cable using the Power Link socket on the converter and the AUX socket on the ...

  • photo's viewing on BeoVision 7-40MKIII

I noticed that photo's (JPEG) played from the internal DVD player are much better on the BeoVision MKIII then on the MKII. However pictures played from a computer via the VGA connection are indeed much and much better still. Why is this?   regards
