• Re: Network Solution for Multiroom Setup

Tough question to answer - without knowing your location, rooms, environment in general. Is your home surrounded by several other wifi networks etc....... How are the settings of the router........ Do you use wifi exclusively for the connections....... Which kind of 'problems' do you have..... Maybe this document can be of inspiration? Maybe go straight to page 65. http://beointegration.com/uploaded/EN-BeoLink-handbook-v1-7.pdf MM

  • Re: BEOPLAY P2 released!

Calling it P2 leaves room for a P1. Then P1 is free to use - even if they don't know by now, whether a smaller/cheaper one could become reality or not. MM

  • Re: BeoRemote app features

Hej Thomas, sorry - I was thinking 'Beomusic app' all the time. Therefore my concern about hangling through several menus to get to TuneIn and to my presets. Maybe I should rewrite my post - this time actually having the BeoRemote app in mind. Sorry again ;-( MM

  • Re: B&O avant

Just to your information, johncoomber: There are several HDR standarts on the market today. On the current UHD-discs/-players HDR10 is used. The first discs with support for Dolby Vision (which is another of these) will soon be out - and the players must and will be updated with support for Dolby Vision. In order to benefit from HDR - or rather from the different HDR formats - these must be supported by the displays/tv's. To our luck - in the LG-displays, that will be used in the coming B&O

The better the source, the better the picture on any (almost any) tv. As Sandyb wrote, the real thing is HDR, but the 4K makes sense too. If you start investing in a UHD-BR player and UHD-discs now, you are prepared for the future. And that player can play regular BRD's just like any regular player. MM

  • Re: Beovision 14 - Disappointing? Help!
I think Philips were on to a good thing with their ambi light in their TVs
They sure were! But they have (unfortunately) turned that into something more gimmicky. The professionals speak of a need for bias light /light behind the screen - which should be at 5 max 10% of the light output of the screen. It is well known that a little light in the room - which is not reflecting into the screen - makes it much easier/less fatiguing to watch video, especially

  • Re: BeoRemote app features

Hej Thomas, if you by 'Source selection' e.g. mean selecting (your) netradio stations by clicking a Radio icon without having to navigate through several submenus to get to the favourite list of TuneIn - then yes, high priority! And please make it possible to access Radio stations with the number key on a remote - for those of us, who use the physical remote/s. And please make it possible to remove the sources, one does not want to see. Respectively to edit the priority of the sources - the

  • Re: BEOPLAY P2 released!

Thanks, steven87 That's a really nice review/comparison. One of the most important things about a small speakers like that, is how does it sound 'all around it', since you probably never would sit dead center in front of it. Meaning the 360 degree effect. We should focus on if a small speaker has a 'uniform' sound, when we are listening to it from different angles. Looking forward to listening myself.... ....once it is officially released in the shops ;-) MM
