"Shake" or "Tap" to use "smart features"? I think the A1 button struggle will continue.

Amazone.de cites April 27th for availability. Looks like aluminium and USB-C to me.

  • More Curious Headphone Behavior

Anyone else's "Power-Saving Function" not really working as expected? I left my headphones turned on, then went to work. Needless to say, the Bluetooth definitely disconnected since I took my phone with me, and I was definitely at work for more than 15 minutes. Anyway, when I got back to them, the battery was completely dead. I tested my other model by turning it on (with Bluetooth also on), and nothing paired to it. I used the timer on my phone to count 17minutes, and when I put them

  • Re: BeoPlay P2

I'd put money that it's a plastic fret with a 'polymer' base - sort of combo A1-A2 build. I agree that the buttons on the A1 are cumbersome, but the only button I press is the power button - and that's just to turn it on, since it turns off by itself anyway. I don't understand why you would use the buttons on the A1 enough for them to be an annoyance. Just use your source to change the volume, pick up calls, etc. It's not like you can use the A1 to switch tracks and what

  • Re: BeoPlay P2

I like! I was going to get a second A1 to leave around the house, and take my current A1 with me on trips... but I might just leave my current A1 around the house and get a P2 for the 'outside' world - as it seems better suited for that kind of use (at least from impressions of the photos).

  • Charger for BeoPlay Headphones/Special Cables?

I tried doing some research to see if I could find the answer to my question, in case someone had already asked, but I couldn't come up with anything. Anyway, I wanted to know, what kind of chargers people were using for their headphones? At the moment, I rely on an extra 5W Amazon charger that came with my Fire Stick - which is rated at the standard 5V/1amp. Without getting into too much detail, does anyone know (for sure) if it's OK (safe) to use a 2amp charger (or higher) to charge any

  • Re: What is the simplest way of setting up 4.1 with BeoLab 14 on non-B&O TV?

FYI, surround sound receivers can be quite small - Yamaha is my choice. Also, some third party TV's have features like HDMI-CEC (Samsung comes to mind here). This allows you to control other CEC equipped components through a single source. In a nutshell, with everything hooked up correctly (via HDMI and CEC turned on), turning the TV on will automatically turn on the receiver. Using the TV remote to adjust volume will also then control the volume of the receiver - essentially the TV's internal

  • Re: New H4s SS17 tangerine (but really pink?)

Yeah, definitely not as tangerine as the stock/promo photos suggest... but it might be a lighting thing. I had the same feelings about the red A1. In bright natural light, the A1 also seemed pink-ish,... but in dimmer indoor lighting, it somehow turned into the deep red I wanted.

  • Re: Beoplay H8

I actually ran into this last night (MBP and iPhone). I think the easiest way is to turn the H8 into Bluetooth discovery mode (flashing blue light), and hit connect on your device's BT settings. If I'm not mistaken, quickly flipping the switch to BT on the H8 will only toggle BT on or off. That said, if both previously paired devices are on, and within the same vicinity of the H8 when you turn on BT, the H8 will just connect to whichever it sees first (and pretty randomly).
