• Re: BeoCenter 2390 connectivity compatibility

I think you need a Mk2 Beolab 3500. The speaker needs to be connected via Powerlink if using Wireless 1s and only the Mk2 has a Powerlink socket. (the socket on the Mk1 is a MCL socket) Stoobie
3) second wireless 1 (set as receiver) is connected to bs3500 using masterlink I do not get any sound out of the bs3500 Should I give up?
All searches show you need a Mk2 Beolab 3500 and I'm almost positive that the Beolab has to be connected to the wireless 1 with the Powerlink connection.

From a previous posting I found this from Keith Sanders who's the tech advisor for this site. Let me give you an overview of Beolab 3500 and Beolink Wireless. First the Beolab 3500 has two variations:- LCS9000 later to become the Beolab 3500 Mark I which has MCL (Master Control Link) and ML (Masterlink) but NOT Powerlink and has a latest software version of 2.1. You can see the FAQ HERE on how to upgrade to version 2.1 software. The LCS9000 and the Beolab 3500 Mark I CANNOT be used with the Beolink

  • Re: Beo4 remote replacement for Beovision 3 - does it need pairing?

So that seems to be your issue. I can't really help with opening them up as I have never done that, but apparently the screen is easy to change so maybe swap the screen from that into your old working remote if you can't get it working after opening it. There is a service manual in the manuals section on this site that would likely to help. Stoobie

  • Re: Help with mx 4000 and remote, av1/av2

On the link below it shows the keys to press on the Beolink 1000 that should correspond to a Beo4 remote and control the Beo4 MX TV you have. It might not control everything but you may be able to use one of your Beolink 1000s to control the TV enough not to need the Beo4 remote. Link Stoobie

Hi there Kai, The BeoCentral site seems to show they were not availble in the light blue. If you look at the various speaker spec in the link you will see what colours they were available LINK Stoobie

  • Re: Beo4 remote replacement for Beovision 3 - does it need pairing?

Hi NeoGeo, The first thing to do is make sure the Beo4 is sending the IR. Point it at a video camera or mobile phone camera on press a button and you should see it glow in the lense. Beo4's do not need to be paired. The list button may not change anything if there is nothing in the list. The screen doesn't actually show a list but rather, each time you press it, it moves on to the next item in the "list". The manual tells you how to add, remove, or move items. Does it control the

  • Re: Help with mx 4000 and remote, av1/av2

Hi there, It looks like you have a Video Terminal remote control so I'm not sure it is fully compatible with the TV. The lable on the back of the TV shows it is a Beo4 version so will probably only be fully controlled by a Beo4 remote. It think the remote you have will only give basic control. Stoobie

  • Re: 4 x Beolab 3's or 12's in living room

I think my Beolab 12's look better in my sun room than they would in my living room, so I'm not tempted to swap them with my Beolab 3's that arrived today. The 12's fade into the background but sound fantastic. They are running off a Wireless 1 as I didn't think of connections when planning the room so there was nowhere to run cables. It works fine so long as we're not using the microwave. Stoobie

  • Re: How to get a dead Beo6 back to life

Hi Weebyx, I can confirm this worked for me. I bought two non working Beo 6s off ebay. I actually just wanted the charging cradles as I have 2 Beo 5s but only 1 charger. I thought I'd give the instructions above a go on the dead Beo 6s. I installed configuration tool 6.00, and it updated each one. Then on another PC with configuration tool 6.84 I connected the remotes and they both updated (both took a while to write the WiFi update and I nearly gave up on the first try) each then sprang into
