• Re: Beoplay E8 Bluetooth issues
I have both issues. The connectivity on the left earphone and also I remove the right earphone, the left stops playing and the right continues. If I remove the left the only then the right continues playing. IMO both should be paused upon removal of one. The same and prefered behaviour of the Apple Airpods.
It’s intentional sadly. It’s because the right one is the master earphone so unlike AirPods you have to either use both or the right one on its own - it

  • Re: Beoplay H9 lack of volume
I just started using the H9's with my Pixel 2 XL. I've found that the volume on the headphone operate independent from the volume on the phone. So often what I'd do is, use the earpiece to raise the volume to what I think is max, but actually the phone has more to give, and using the volume buttons on the handset seems to make it go much, much louder than I can handle. Not sure if you're tried this at all or if it's just a Pixel 2 thing? [/quote

  • Re: Beoplay E8 charging

It’s my understanding that leaving the headphones in the case long term (and even leaving the case plugged into the mains) won’t cause any problems because it’ll stop charging once full and won’t start charging again until you pull them out and put them back in. However, if you constantly plug everything in to the mains right after using the headphones that can cause the battery to degrade over time but I’m not sure it’ll cause a hugely noticeable difference over the average lifetime of the earphones

  • Re: Careful B&O fakes !

Can't quite remember,.... but does "Bang & Olufesn" branding blatantly ever appear on BeoPlay products as such?
The stylised "BANG & OLUFSEN" logo never appears on Play products – only the classic "B&O" symbol is used on them, and only them. On packaging "B&O PLAY by BANG & OLUFSEN" (set in Gotham) has been used, although I'm not sure if that's still the

  • Re: AUX connector type on a Century

I'm not sure if any hifi shops would have any DIN to 3.5mm in stock but I got a cable from eBay (seller was beo_kev - he's super friendly and should be able to help you find the right one). Strangely the cable he recommended was a 5-pin DIN one like yours and it works perfectly on my Century so maybe the cable you have is damaged? Output wise, an MP3 player should be fine - I've used my Century with an iPad and iPhone via the AUX input fine :)

I just came across this on Facebook's local buying/selling thing! Was just about to make a new forum post until I saw this one. Tempted to message the seller.

  • BeoSystem 2500 doors slightly misaligned

Hi all, I recently bought a BeoSystem 2500 and there's a tiny problem where the glass doors are slightly misaligned at the top (see photo) - it's not a huge problem and everything works fine, was just wondering if anybody knew how to fix it? Not 100% sure if the Vintage section is the right place to post this, but the BeoSystem is 24 years old so I'm guessing it is! Thanks !
