  • Re: Beovision 14-55 buy now or wait for LG update?

Oh so you had a BV10.....why did you sell out of interest? just my opinion, but the initial LG screens will not look anything like the BV10/11/14.......though one day, there may be an OLED (LG) version.....i suspect for reasons of not confusing their TV product portfolio, the Avant / Horizon / BV14 will remain for a while (as LCD / LED offerings), alongside the OLED choice.........

  • Re: Bang & Olufsen App

i see the same as you for my BSys4, though only when i go to my products under settings........and then i get / follow the same path as you.....i don't have a dongle for my BSys4, so..... In the new app, if i select my BSys4 in the usual way (i.e. tap on the product icon shown at the right of the Chose what to play grey band at the bottom of the screen).......then you shouldn't be prompted to set up Google cast.....as it is, control of sources (guess similar for the BV11 etc) is limited.

wow, all change for you then..... i'm a relative newbie to all this, but am very happy with my main setup in my lounge (BV12-65 / BS4, with BL18s, BL3s, and a BL119 sub)....all works marvellously........wasnt aware of problems with the BL20's, don't see too many posts about that.....supposed to sound very good though, aren't they? Not all bad though, depending on what kit you need they have brought out some decent (among the plethora) one point speakers, which i use in secondary rooms

  • Re: BS1 v 2 and A9 - interesting

agree completely, i have both the A9 and the BS2, both excellent products.....personally, i don't use them in a lounge / living area, as i like a bigger room filling sound, but regardless, they are both excellent......and the BS2 i think is really worth the extra money vs the BS1, to my ears anyway......

the Bv14 certainly looks fabulous.....we don't know what the design / form factor of the LG's will be like, though given they are based on the E series, it may be relatively straightforward by comparison to the 14..........i have a 14, and i do love the look of it more and more........but of course its software problems have been patience testing to put it mildly, though they seem to be more or less there (communication between the remote and the TV can break down).... in the end if picture

  • Re: BeoPlay M5 ?

i think many of the B&O one point speakers are thought to be bass heavy to varying degrees.......the new BeoLit 17 is similar i believe, so this may be common to the BeoPlay speakers, especially the newer ones (guess that's what the market wants?)........their BeoLab active left / right speakers don't have this characteristic, they are much more balanced, and generally fabulous .........anyway, that seems to be the feeling i read on this forum..........that said, the A9 and the newer

  • Re: BeoSystem 4

I have a 12-65 with a Beosystem 4...don't know how it compares to a BS3, I'm certainly very happy with the picture I have.....can it be as good as a latest 4K HDR image on an OLED? I don't see how it can, but I'd be in no hurry to change- after all, 95% of the time I use HD channels or BluRay, and the quality is excellent....the audio experience may be better with the BS4 for sure vs the BS3, others will know better if the picture processing is better as well....

  • Re: Spotify now integrated into V1, BV11 and BV12NG

from what i am told Spotify have changed something, in that they want to push their playlists much more front and centre.....something about the way this hs been done has messed up users Spotify playlists on connected devices......i can be got around with the right software to do some error correction, and not clear the BV's have it, whereas a Moment probably could, if the issue had affected that device for example.......not that familiar with the BS5, so can't really comment as to whether
