• Re: Noise in speakers when interfacing with BLC

Thank you very much for your kind offer. The cable in the "test rig" is not a cable im specially fond of being something homemade from a previous owner. So i will just cut the white wire and try without it. If that doesn't work i will contact you again. Thank you very much for your, as always, very compentent help!

Pin 6, White? Can i cut it? I arranged a test rig before i install it and the powerlink csble is actually a custom made i got with a Beomaster i bought once. It is with soldered DIN plug I could cut the White Wire and test that? The cable is RJ45 > Powerlink

  • Solved: Noise in speakers when interfacing with BLC

Hi guys! I have a BLC connected to two Beolabs with Powerlink. When i use my Remote or the Link Eye to adjust volume, turn the system on/off or change source i get a buzz in the speakers. One press on the volume equals one buzz. If i hold the volume it buzzes as it steps up or down in volume. The speakers works perfectly on other systems so its not the amplifiers going crazy. What is going on? Could the link-eye be faulty? The BLC is V.master and in V.opt 2. Line in Sense is off.

  • Re: Speakers on BLC instead of A.Master?
I have seen page 11 before and that is why i bought the BLC. I'm wondering if i can skip the IR-eye. Keep the BM and the BLC in Option 2, using the BM IR so i don't have to place a IR eye on the wall somewhere.
Tested this. No luck. Doesn't work. I have to make room for a link eye on the wall.

  • Re: Datalink and Multiroom

Thanks for your description. It was very informative for me. I am fiddling around with my NL/ML converter now and i think i can make it work the way i want to. I have ordered a IR-eye for the NL/ML to control it standalone with Line IN source and Beolab speakers connected but i wonder if i can control it through my BM6500 that i have in the same room. That would spare me a IR Eye on the wall. I only need it to control the volume of the LINE IN (3rd party TV). I need a PL > RJ45 converter to test

  • Speakers on BLC instead of A.Master?

Hi guys! I just bought a NL/ML (BLC) converter. I adjusted delay in the setup so music from the NL (Deezer and TuneIn) is now in synce across to my BM7000. The other way around there is a horrible delay (of course since there are som ADC going on) I wonder if a solution for that could be: I buy a NL/ML Link eye. I set my BM7000 in A.opt 0 and the BLC in V.opt 2 I connect my Mainroom speakers to the BLC. I have nothing on the ML system besides my BM and BG. Wil the ML sound be synced across all speakers
what about the following connection: BeoSys 5000 (1982) to converter 1611 (AAUX) to Beosound Moment (using a Masterlink to RJ45 cable)?
Wouldnt work since the Masterlink to RJ45 would distribute ML signal. Analog.
Would it make available the BeoSys sources to the x app?
No
In other words, can a beosound Moment function as the nl/ml converter in the previously mentioned setups
Beomaster 6500 understand the following Video commands: TV - SAT(DTV) - V.TAPE(V.MEM) - CDV(DVD) - V.TAPE2(DVD2) it should be possible to set the BLC up so you can use one of these commands for Tunein instead. I am using SAT(DTV) for nettadio on my BM7000 Søren
Thanks for this! I recieved my NL/ML converter yesterday. I look forward to installing it!
