• Re: A6 DSP Error Level: Service Error

I don't have Ethernet in the room where the A6 is placed. Today i will try and move it to a room where Ethernet is present. Then i can see if that fixes the issue. But this is not a solution for me as the room i bought it for don't have ethernet. Do you use 2,4ghz or 5ghz? Could that be a thing? I have static IP for all products. I have suspected the firmware to be the issue. I saw another post about firmware issues a week ago regarding the Beosound 1.

  • A6 DSP Error Level: Service Error

Hi guys! I have an A6 that keeps crashing. It happens when i use the B&O app (which is always) In the settings utility, under critical it says "DSP Error Level: Service Error" The only thing that fixes it is ud i unplug the A6 from Mains. At first it happened once in a while nyt now it is virtually unusable. Of course i have testet stuff and found out: Reset does not help Chromecast works until the DSP crashes. If i reset it and play something and i join the music in any other room

  • Re: BEOVISION ECLIPSE
Unfortunately everything connected with B&O is either satisfactory or below par. The final nail is no functionality of the NL/ML converter. Beosound 4 is now hard wired to the eclipse and is a manually controlled device. There is no plan to incorporate this in the future.
Wait! Are you saying that my NL/ML Converter will never function with the Eclipse? Thats a deal breaker for me, sorry. All this talk about firing and closing down makes me want a Beovision

  • Re: New beoplay product
Hello MM I am also interested in reading your opinion on the sound quality as I am thinking of buying one for my wife’s study. Her buying criteria are: - easy to use - stable; no setup hassle - decent sound quality in a 14 m2 room We currently have a Sonos Play 3 in the study, so that’s the competition to beat! I am also interested to understand how Deezer Hifi behaves in a multi room setup. Can you activate a Deezer stream on one device (eg. Essence in the

  • Re: Bang & Olufsen BeoVox Cona connected to a class D amplifier (2 speakers output 50w 8ohms)

You are using the Cona for something it is not designed for. It is like taking a ferrari for off roading. Buy yourself a set of good CX50 or CX100 and let that Cona sing. You will be surprised!

  • Re: BS Essence in an integrated setup with tv?

Just to be clear here. If i have a BV11, 14, Avant or such and i add a core i get a TV that works exactly as my other Multiroom speakers until i press TV on my remote, then its a TV? How do i integrate it? Is it a part of the core setup? Besides the size, why should i choose the Core instead of a Essence MkII and vice versa?

I wont be ising the line in. Im only interested in the possibility to use BV11 speakers as a multiroom device without the screen turning on. As i understand that is possible with this setup? :)

  • Re: Comparison of pre ABL and post ABL Beolab 8000s

I read somewhere a long time ago that the pre ABL "Mk 1" plays basis in one of the two drivers and mid in the other. Treble is og course in the treble part. This gives us three drivers working their own part og the frequency spectrum. The later ABL "Mk 2" had another crossover. The drivers now both play bass and treble. With that in mind it makes sende that you can hear the difference. Three drivers working in collaboration will make a more nuanced sound than the other configuration
