  • Beomaster 901 faulty left channel - any ideas?

Hello, The left channel of Beomaster 901 has just started to play up and wondered if anybody had any suggestions on how to fix it? When I plug the speaker into the left channel I have to wiggle the DIN plug around for it to work. It works fine when it's in exactly the correct position, but then if...

  • Re: Beomaster 3000-2 (1970) made popping noise

Hi rjee, there are several things you could try. I recapped a couple of 3000-2s and found the DIN sockets can cause problems. The silver contacts tarnish and can become loose. It's possible to remove the pins by unsoldering and twisting straight to push back through the socket front. Cleaning (silver...

  • CDX integration with Beomaster

Hi, I have just bought a CDX and a beomaster 3300. The sound is great but I wanted to know if it was possible to replace the RCA output from the CDX with a seven pin din connection so that I can control the CDX with the remote for the beomaster. Would this be possible? To that extent, does anybody know...

  • There's smoke coming out of my Beomaster 1000. Help.

I have no experience working with electronics at all. I recently acquired a Beomaster 1000 from my elderly neighbours as they were clearing out their garage. I hooked it up via a 5 pin din - phono cable to my iPod and then via two 2 pin din stereo cables to a pair of Mordaunt Short Pageant II speakers...

  • How can i record with Dynamic mic on BeoCord 2400?

Hello everyone I have acquired myself a lovely BeoCord 2400, which i intend to make some home recordings on. However!! Every input is 5 pin din, and i want to use my SM57 & SM58 dynamic mics, which are 3 pin XLR. I have been exploring the web intensively and it doesn't seem to be a common problem...

  • is the Beocord 8000 7 Pin Din socket a male or female connector on the back

Hi, I hope someone can help with this query. I've ordered a (Female) 7-Pin Din socket to RCA cable so I can fit the Beocord into my Rotel amplifier for now. I'm not sure though if I actually needed the female or male Din version as no where makes it clear what kind of socket is on the back of...
