    Yeah thanks for the advice. I feel that 70-80 euros was too much to pay for the functioning one I bought as it is. Unfortunately it's the tyranny of distance for us down under because the freight costs are always very expensive and then, unless the items are packaged extremely well they tend to arrive...

    Hi All, Just wondering if anyone maybe able to help me, I have just brought a beocord 5000. when playing you just get a bumping and feedback sort of noise from the left channel and the sound level meter on the unit nothing is there for that channel but the right channel is fully working and sounds great...

    I came across this nice cassette player, tried it out and it played, exept for the right VU meter. Opened it and found al lot of tantalium condensators which i all replaced, lubricated and cleaned the whole mechanism, found out that the right VU meter was stuck, freed that up and tested the machine....

  • is the Beocord 8000 7 Pin Din socket a male or female connector on the back

    Hi, I hope someone can help with this query. I've ordered a (Female) 7-Pin Din socket to RCA cable so I can fit the Beocord into my Rotel amplifier for now. I'm not sure though if I actually needed the female or male Din version as no where makes it clear what kind of socket is on the back of...

    My first post...I have the Beomaster, Beocord and Beogram 8000 -- might be interested in selling. Have manuals, everything from purchase. My dad left it behind in a divorce ~1981... rarely used.
