I believe the HDD in my BM5 has crashed.  It is the original.  I see much discussion about cloning the old HDD to create a new drive, but what if the old drive is broken so no longer clone-able?  I believe I have most of my music backed up (and, if not, I have the CDs), but can I just put in a new disk and run recovery and then copy in my music?

Thanks,

Stan

400 euro's = the B&O price for replacing a 1TB harddrive

Yes that’s roughly what I have paid. Twice!

Well. After having cloned and installed an SSD disk instead of the standard disk, I am happy to have the old hard drive as a backup in case a crash should happen.
