As noted in the General Discussion forum, my quadraphonic Beogram 6000, despite being unused and stored in an unheated warehouse for nine years, is for the most part tracking and playing perfectly.

However, it has a couple of quirks: the tonearm and sensor arm aren't parallel (though this doesn't seem to affect play) and once or twice it has skated over the beginning of records (though it tracks so lightly that there was no damage to stylus or LP). For these reasons, I'd like to get it serviced soon. Who can do this, how much does it cost and how long would it take?

Also, the sensor refuses to recognise coloured or translucent vinyl LPs, so I can't get them to play and can't override the machine to drop the stylus manually. Is there a workaround for this?
