Hey I have a Beocenter 9000 with a broken cd player. The cd player starts spinning and the laser tries to focus but then stops. I changed the philips capacitor with a 47uF 25V philips one (I used one of these in a beocenter 9500 and it worked). Can somebody help me figure out what the problem is? The numbers on the pcb read 3104 103 34185 8204 054 17001.

Do you have CDM 19.4 or CDM 12.4 ?

Can you take a photo ?

I only know that it's a CDM 2. Here are the pictures https://imgur.com/gallery/r2bfg I think that the previous owner tried to repair it and possibly screwed some things up.

Nevermind, the previous owner unscrewed the torx screw next to the laser and never actually put it back in correctly. It is working fine now!
