Hi!

I am trying to organize a party in Riva del Garda (Italy), which will be open to all B&O beer lovers who are willing to come.

I chose one of the most beautiful areas of northern Italy, on the lake Garda, so that you could choose to spend a few days here maybe with your family as well.

Sports you can practice are: wind surf, kite, stand up padding, canoa, mountain bike, trekking, climbing, swimming. It is a great place for both adults and children. And I live here, so I could help you with everything you need: booking the hotel and any activity you are interested in!

I chose a very special pub, run by a great person I have been knowing for a life.

In a few words: a beautiful location in the countryside, great beers coming from both very small Italian breweries and from the most special ones all around the world.

What's more, I could also arrange a special night there (only for us), where we could have some beer producers and beer specialists who can tell us about the beers we drink and a chef cooking for us the most suitable dishes for the beers we like. We could also arrange a visit to the brewery for those who are interested !

Last but not least, I would ask my B&O dealer to come there and let us enjoy the evening listening to a "suitable equipment" Wink

This is what I would like to do.

I hope that many of you are interested.

Please let me know so that we can try and arrange everything.

It would be a wonderful way to stay together and share our passions. Big Smile

Just add your name and country of origin in the list so that we can see how many of us would like to come:

7th October

I will try but it is very possible I won't be able to. This is an amazing itinerary you have put together. I highly appreciate the amount of work you are putting into this, what a guy!

Hi Paolo,

What a superb idea!  I need to persuade my good lady, but (subject to her approval) I'm very interested!  That week happens to be my birthday, so I'm in need of B&O, beer and windsurfing Big Smile

Kind regards, Steve.

Firstly a big thank you for running with this idea, and packing so much into it.

It will be some 5 years after the Struer event and wonderful to have even if only ten of us materialise.

Please pencil in Ed (and Sue) Greenaway, Australia.

Perhaps we can think of something for the non-beer drinkers ?

Paolo. What a fantastic idea and itinerary. I would of course love to come if I can. However unfortunately I cannot commit right now as that weekend is the start of our busiest week at work (we have a 30 September year end). I will try to deal with that if I can and I may have to make it a short (but high quality) trip. (Basically I don't want to say I'll definitely come and then let you down).

But I will be there if I can. 🍻

Duels, the date I suggested (23rd September) is just a date of which I thought the most of us could be free. But it would not be a problem to put it off to the beginning of October... if everybody agrees..

If it were October then we would have left Europe.

Is pulling it forward to say the 16th an option ?

Thought I'd posted this comment but it appears not.

Please don't change the date for me. It is a shame if elephant can't go given that he is actually in Europe in September. I will try to be there whenever it is. 🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺

I have the feeling that there will not be hundreds of us, does not matter the date.

So, we could even have two different dates:

The 7th October and the 16th September.

What do you think?

Firstly change the threads title Big Smile

Then we might get more of an unbiased poll between late September or Early October !

Paolo,

I'm (obviously) very interested, but I simply can't answer now.

The upcoming days will be decisive for my future activity (that may start mid september/beginning of october)...

7 October is now more achievable for me

Does this mean we have our own private Oktoberfest ?

Hi,

A good friend of mine has just got engaged to be married, with the wedding expected this October - hence, I will have to report back nearer the time with my availability once I know the wedding date, if that is OK!

Kind regards, Steve

Great!! Smile

You know, it is just to keep everything under control. Wink

Based on how many people we have for each date I will try and arrange the best possible evening for you guys. Big Smile I really hope you will be numerous of course, but this doesn't mean that it can't be a wonderful event even if there are just a few of us... it just makes me make arrange everything differently.

Maybe we just need a table or two, maybe we need four, or maybe we need the entire pub... Stick out tongue

And, as I said before, please feel free to contact me if you need further information for your visit (hotels, things you may want to purchase once here, places to visit, activities you may want to do, whether you need a lift from or to the airport, whether you want to spend some days here or just one,...)...

A private October fest sounds nice, very nice!! Smile

Well, it depends on you... the pub is actually an Irish pub, and the available beer are rather international beers (of course the Belgian, American, some German as well, Italian...).

What you usually drink at October fest is slightly different from that. It is usually a Pils, or a Weizen, and together with it you eat some pork ribs, or roast chicken and that's it.

At this pub you are offered a great variety of the best beers of the world, and then they cook special dishes to accompany these beers.

They definitely take it to a higher level...

As a travelling consultant for any new gig & location I have two priorities:

1/ find a good coffee shop by 11:00am on the first morning

2/ find an Irish pub (preferably with live music) before the first Thursday night
