My mother in law will get her Avant 32 VHS exchanged with a BV7-32 MK3 in the next few weeks. The Avant then becomes obsolete.

The Avant is fully functional, but I don't have adequate space to set it up.

What should I do with it ? Throw it in the garbage or use it or the internals for a project ?

I have no idea, but maybe you ...

You could use the speakers for an audio project of your choice or you can throw out the old tube and put a bigger LCD-TV in.
There was an absolute amazing project in our archived forum where somebody put a Pioneer Plasma (as far as I remember) on the Avant chassis and it looked great like it was designed by B&O this way.

Or you just keep the lower part, remove the tube and have a nice small rack with motor stand and speakers for a small TV, audio system or other things.

Thanks TWG, are the speakers the same as those in the BL2500 ?

EDIT: Ok, found the answer myself. The speakers are the same.

What's that thread? Did you get the pictures from the archived thread? Seems a very good idea :)
