    Calling Beomedia 1 Owners.....

    Hi guy's.

Need some help on understanding BM1. Can any of you tell me the process of how you load your files into the BM1 harddrive?

Is it done via your PC looking at BM1 harddrive as another mapped storage and using Windows Explorer to transfer or is it more illogical like using Beoplayer to "copy" album by album to a "known device" aka Beomedia?

    Please describe the process.

    Thanks

    The second...

As a gold member, you should download the Beomedia user guide and you'll know exactly.

I have connected the Beomedia and my PC via router. I can send my music and photos to the BM via ethernet. As you say, BM is like a hard disk in your PC.

Do you see the BM1 in the network neighbourhood, and mount is as a drive, and drag files in the File Manager in Windows?

    Yep

Beomedia has a folder called BM Share, with folders called Photo, Music and Favorites. Its what you see in your PC.

    Thanks guy's. big help.

I trawled the manuals both on Beoworkd and the Official site - all the manuals I read did not explicitly state the mode of transfer.

    Anyway, problem solved

    Thanks
